Yuva Sanskriti (Youth Development Camp Instilling Bharathiya Rich Culture and Heritage) for school students was conducted on 15th and 16th May 2026 at Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore–20. The students arrived on the campus on the evening of 14th May 2026. Upon arrival, they were given an orientation about the programme, and room allotments were made at Kambar Illam.
Day-1 (15.05.2026)
The camp began with a morning Yoga session from 6:00 to 7:00 a.m., followed by a temple visit. The formal programme commenced at 9:00 a.m. with a welcome address delivered by Dr. A. Muthusamy, Principal, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. The first session, “Ilaignargalukku Swamy Vivekanandar” by Swami Karunikananda Maharaj of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, focused on student enrichment and the purpose of the camp, highlighting Swami Vivekananda’s message that education is the manifestation of perfection already in man and that every soul is potentially divine. The second session, “Desathai Kattamaippadhil Ilaignargalin Pangu” by Dr. N. Muthaiah, Dean, School of Rehabilitation and Sports Science, RKMVERI, emphasized the objectives of education—knowledge, skills, values, and positive attitudes—while addressing 21st‑century demands such as communication, creativity, digital skills, leadership, empathy, and teamwork. The third session, “Say No to Drugs” by Dr. T. Thangamani, Associate Professor, SRMV Maruthi College of Physical Education, warned against drug abuse through a video presentation, stressing the importance of avoiding harmful environments. In the fourth session, “Vision India 2047” by Sri Rajeshkumar Palanisamy, Training Coordinator, MSME, Coimbatore Zone, students were inspired with India’s economic progress, encouraged to read biographies of Thomas Alva Edison and Helen Keller, and reminded of their role in nation‑building. The fifth session, “Aalumaithiranai Valarthal” by Dr. A. Malathi, Associate Professor of Computer Science, Government Arts College, Coimbatore, was an interactive personality development programme focusing on leadership, communication, and soft skills. The sixth session, “The Power and Purpose of Education” by Mrs. G. Mutharasi, PG Assistant Teacher, SKN Government Higher Secondary School, Beedampalli, Coimbatore, urged students to learn with social responsibility, drawing from her personal teaching experiences. After the sessions, speaker selection for debate was conducted, followed by games to strengthen body and mind led by Dr. G. Balasundar, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Physical Education, Health Education and Sports, SRMVCAS. Later, students participated in MCA Lab activities, Aarthi, and Bhajans of Vidyalaya. The day concluded with a debate held from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. on the topic “Indraiya Ilaignargalin Kalvi Vazhikatti Pertorgale! Aasiriyargale!”, judged by Dr. R. Abimanyu, Assistant Professor of Tamil, SRMVCAS.

Session-2 Indian Living Legends and their Technology which changed the world by Dr.R.Sridhar, Director, SRMVCAS SF wing, Indians are great in technology invention who invented USB, and several inventors in technology.
Session-3 India Viduthalai Poratta Varalaru, Dr.D.rajakumar, Assistant Professor of Tamil, SRMVCAS, Subash Chandra Bose, sacrifice, the pioneer of Indian Army , Raj Bihary Bose, INA founder, Jansi Rani Lakshi Rai women army wing, unsung freedom fighters.
Session-4 Pothu Thervil Athiga Mathippen Peruvathu Eppadi? Mr. S.Selvabharath, Head Master, Govt Hr Sec School, Sirumugaiputhur, Discussed exam preparation strategies, exam writing strategies
Session-5 Pottithervu Anugumurai, Vetrikolvathu Eppadi? By Mr. B.Palani, PG Assistant Teacher, Govt Hr Sec School, Sirumugaiputhur, exams like NIT IIT entrance, NEET and UPSC, TnPSC exams.
Sesson- 6 Cyber Security by Dr.M.Jayakumar, Associate Professor and Head, Department of BCA, SRMVCAS. Student to aware of cyber crimes, never share personal details, aware of spam calls and messages, loan and money offers.
