International Conference on Data Science Using AI
The Departments of Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, and AI & ML jointly organized an International Conference on Data Science Using AI from 17th to 20th September 2026 in virtual mode. 140 participants attended, and 84 research papers were presented. Research scholars, students, faculty members, and industry delegates participated in the conference.The four technical sessions featured distinguished resource persons.
Autism Awareness Day
The FDMSE, RKMVERI observed Autism Awareness Day on 2 April 2026 with the theme 'Autism & Humanity - Every Life has Value'. The programme featured engaging and sensory-based activities such as Dance & Freeze, Leaf Painting, and Sand Play, which enhanced attention, creativity, and sensory integration among the participants. Teacher trainees of B.Ed.-ID & Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. (ID) I year played a significant role in organizing and facilitating the sessions, while special educators and faculty members provided continuous guidance and support. A total of 22 Children with developmental disabilities along with 14 parents actively participated and enthusiastically engaged in all activities.
Workshop on Holistic Wellness
The FDMSE, RKMVERI organized a One-Day Workshop on “Holistic Wellness” for Parents of Children with Special Needs. This Programme was conducted as a part of NEP SAARTHI activity on 10th July 2026.The Session included “Holistic Wellness – What? Why? and How?”, Greeting Card Making (Art & Craft)”. In total 54 participants (38 parents, 12 faculty members and 4 resource teachers) attended and benefited out this programme.
Training Programme for Parents (Awareness Programme)
The FDMSE, RKMVERI conducted an awareness program for parents titled “Enhancing Speech Production and Communication Skills among Children with Speech Disorder” on 26th September 2026. The programme focused on providing parents with practical strategies to enhance children’s speech production and communication skills through articulation practice, vocabulary development, sentence formation, listening and imitation, turn-taking, question–answer activities and functional communication. Parents were encouraged to use everyday activities such as play, mealtime and daily routines for communication practice. In total 45 parents (40 females and 5 males) attended and benefited out this programme.
Refresher Programme on Research Methodology
The FDMSE, RKMVERI in collaboration with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) organized a CRE programme titled “Refresher Programme on Research Methodology” on 22.08.2026. The topics handled are Qualitative Research - Introduction: Types and Methods and Quantitative Research – An overview: Types and Approaches in Quantitative Research. In total 78 participants attended the programme.
