The RMV Yuva Kreeda Mahotsav 2026, a State-Level Throwball Tournament for Girls, was successfully organized by Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Swami Shivananda Higher Secondary School (Girls’ Campus) on 1st August 2026 for the first time this year promoting sportsmanship.
The tournament featured 11 reputed schools from Coimbatore, witheight teams each in the Under-14 and Under-17 categories, involving a total of 192 playersand promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The inaugural function was graced by the presence of the Hon’ble Shri C. V. Sundarraj, District Judge, Mahila Court, Coimbatore, who presided as the Chief Guest and formally declared the meet open. The Under-17 inaugural match between PSGR Krishnammal Higher Secondary School and Vishwa Deepthi Matric Higher Secondary School was inaugurated by the Chief Guest. The Under-14 inaugural match between Thambu Higher Secondary School and National Model CBSE School was inaugurated by Revered Swami Garishthananda Maharaj.
The valedictory function of the RMV Yuva Kreeda Mahotsav 2026 was held in the esteemed presence of Revered Swami Garishthananda Maharaj, who graced the occasion and distributed trophies, certificates, and cash awards to the winners.
