In honor of Major Dhyan Chand, fondly known as the "Uncrowned King of Hockey", our Country celebrates National Sports Day on August 29th each year. To commemorate this occasion, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya has been enthusiastically organized the following activities.

Sports events were organized for the children of the Government Tribal Residential Middle School, Palamalai, Coimbatore, in which 46 students participated in 14 events.
29 August 2026
- A Mini Marathon was organized, in which 509 students participated.
- A Mini Marathon for Persons with Disabilities was organized, in which 49 persons with disabilities participated, comprising 26 persons with intellectual disabilities, 13 persons with hearing impairment, 7 persons with visual impairment, and 3 persons with physical disabilities.
- Tournaments for male staff members were organized in Hockey, Ball Badminton, Badminton and Volleyball in which 67 staff members participated.
- Tournaments for female staff members were organized in Tennikoit and Throwball, in which 33 staff members participated.
- Tournaments for students were organized at various venues.
A total of 487 winners of the various events were honored with medals, trophies, and certificates.
