The 80th Independence Day was celebrated on 15 August 2026 at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya. Swami Garishthanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, hoisted the National Flag and delivered the Independence Day address.
Swamijis, Heads of the Institutions, staff members, and students representing the various institutions of the Vidyalaya participated in the celebration with great patriotism totaling 2879.
On the occasion, Swami Garishthanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, presented prizes and trophies to the best marching squads and also distributed prizes to the winners of the "Ganamrutham" Inter-Vidyalaya Singing Competition held on the occasion of Guru Purnima.
