Swami Shivananda Higher Secondary School stands for the ideals of purity, discipline and dedication. All works such as keeping the rooms and the campus clean, painting doors and windows, maintaing roads and playgrounds are done by students and the staff. The school believes that the physical work done efficiently is a means of educational and intellectual development. The school uniform is compulsory for all. The school has completed 46 years in promoting education on the lines laid down by Swami Vivekananda.

Eligibility to apply for Higher Secondary Course
The Candidate must have passed the X Standard/ (S.S.L.C.Public Examination) Matric or an equivalent examination thereof.
Admission
Admission is confirmed only after the interview.
The candidate for admission should bring with him the prescribed fees (school and hostel, if applicable) and the following certificates in Original.
- S.S.L.C. Mark Sheet and One Xerox Copy.
- Transfer Certificate
- Conduct Certificate
- Community Certificate BC/MBC/SC/ST
Fees:
Special fees, Science fees and Vocational fees are at Government rates (Subject to revision).
Payment of Fees:
Fees Once Paid will not be Refunded on any Account.
Rules and Regulations
Students should be punctual to the classes and regular in attendance. If they will be considered absent for the entire day.
- Leave for unavoidable reasons must be applied for in advance and must be recommended by the class teacher and by warden or deputy warden in the case of hostal students.
- Each student has to put in minimum attendance of 75% of the total number of working days of the school to be eligible for promotion to the next standard.
- 90% of attendance is compulsory for scholarship holders during the year.
- The Headmaster has the right to suspend or dismiss any student at any time from the school for the following reasons:
- Irregular attendance.
- Indifference towards studies.
- Non - observance of school rules and regulations.
- Non – payment of school fees and other dues.
- Neglect of community work, social service activities, prayer.
HOSTEL
The school accommodates the students in the hostal with limited numbers. A separate application will have to be made for admission in the hostel. The school never guarantees a seat in the hostel for every student who applies. Detailed information will be given in the hostal office. |
