Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore-20

  Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore, is a major educational centre of the well-known Ramakrishna Mission. It is 19 km from Coimbatore City on the highway to Ootacamund,and is situated in a serene environment spread over about 300 acres. The Institution was founded by Sri T.S. Avinashilingam in 1930 with an investment of just Rs. 5.75 and with one harijan boy on its roll..

Our college has won the first prize in IPAA State level Chess tournament which was held at Nachimuthu Polytechnic College, Pollachi on 15.12.2007. Emerged Victory Students name are as below

Our college has won the overall and indiviual championship in IPAA divisional level Athlet meet which was held at PSG polytechnic college, Coimbatore on 11.02.08 and 12.02.08.

State level Cultural Competion

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Polytechnic College Coimbatore, conducted ‘State Level Inter College Cultural Competitions’ at GKD Auditorium, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Periyanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore on 9.02.08 From 9.00 A.M to 4.30 P.M. 22 colleges from all over the state of Tamilnadu participated.

Swami Harivratananda, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, inaugurated the competitions by lighting the kuthuvilaku. Competitions were conducted in Elocution, Drama, Solo Singing and Group Dance.
