Master of Philosophy in Physical Education

| Eligibility |
| 1. Full–time: Candidates who have passed post-graduate degree in Physical Education (MPEd,
MPE,) of any university accepted by the syndicate of this University with not less than 50%
marks are eligible to apply for admission to MPhil Course. |
| Duration |
1. Full–time: The duration of the course will be for two semesters of 90 days each.
NOTE: Maximum period for completion of the MPhil programme is two years for full-time candidates. The medium of instruction will be English. |
| Course of Study |
| The course of study shall have two papers. The Part-I consists of three theory
papers and Part-II a dessertation and viva-voce. Both the parts must be completed within the duration
of study. |
| Grading System |
| The candidate shall be declared to pass the examination if he obtains not less than 50% marks in each paper. The viva voce examination will be conducted by the Internal and External examiners for 100 marks. |
